Just an update on where I have been and what I have been doing.<\/p>\n
As previously posted, on August 5th I met up with a woman by the name of Nancy, who goes by the name Special Agent Nancy on ADVRider.com<\/p>\n
Nancy rides the same model and year bike I have (2011 Triumph Tiger), but her bike is not black, the only proper color for a motorcycle.\u00a0 \u00a0I already posted about how our early ride went.\u00a0 \u00a0Very well I think.<\/p>\n

We finished riding Norway, then went into Sweden to see a few things, then back to Oslo, Norway.\u00a0 \u00a0See my WhereIsBobL page to see our chaotic route.\u00a0 \u00a0In Oslo we stayed with another inmate from ADVRider named Thor.\u00a0 \u00a0Thor Hammer.\u00a0 \u00a0No, not a joke, it is a common name in Norway.\u00a0 \u00a0He is a great and very generous man and a true world traveler.<\/p>\n
On August 31st I took the Ferry to northern Denmark to see a few things there.\u00a0 \u00a0As it turns out, it would have been more sensible to ride back through Sweden to see what I wanted to see.\u00a0 \u00a0BUT, even though that would have been a more logical route, things ended up turning out better this way.\u00a0 \u00a0Funny how the world twists.<\/p>\n
Nancy went back home on September 1st and last I heard was really glad she is back there, but she does miss her Triumph Tiger.\u00a0 \u00a0 That girl needs to ride!!!!<\/p>\n
The riding with Nancy was great.\u00a0 \u00a0I have never traveled with anyone that long.\u00a0 \u00a0I did not think it would work out, but it did.\u00a0 \u00a0It is not easy to find someone you can travel with even short term, much less long term.\u00a0 \u00a0I am glad we met up, it was a fun time.<\/p>\n
As for Riding Style, Nancy is even more of a drive-by tourist than I am.\u00a0 \u00a0Think Chevy Chase ” Look kids, the Eiffel Tower!”.\u00a0 \u00a0Works for me.\u00a0 \u00a0I like that kind of traveling.\u00a0 \u00a0Something has to be pretty special to be worth giving up riding time to see.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, I feel I need to add this paragraph, as there are a few among my readers that will jump to conclusions that real motorcyclists and world travelers would not.\u00a0 No, there is nothing romantic going on here.\u00a0 \u00a0Nancy is very happy in her relationship at home.\u00a0 Very Happy.\u00a0 \u00a0This was two friends travelling, and nothing more.\u00a0 \u00a0I want to thank her honey for being OK with her traveling with me.\u00a0 \u00a0She was under my full protection the whole time, for whatever that is worth.<\/p>\n
I continued on through Denmark and will likely be heading into Germany and then towards Romania tomorrow.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0If all goes according to plan…… I had trouble typing THAT with a straight face, you know how plans go…. but if it does, I will be in Romania within a week.\u00a0 \u00a0Not sure how long I will be there, or where I will end up.\u00a0 \u00a0 Keep following along.\u00a0 \u00a0I will try to post more often.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
